I am a trained Gestalt and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) therapist. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

What does this mean?

Gestalt is a relational, humanistic approach that sees a person as a whole being, shaped by their experiences and how these show up in the present moment.

CBT looks at the links between thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, and how these patterns can influence how someone feels day to day. CBT offers strategies to help manage life challenges.

In our first meeting, we can discuss which approach suits you; we might choose to use a mixture of both. You don’t need to understand these methods, but if you would like more, I am happy to talk about them.

BACP is a professional registered body that ensures our work together adheres to its ethical framework.

I chose the name wildflower because I liken counselling to planting seeds together and seeing which ones grow (don’t worry, there’s no tree hugging required, unless you want to). We all carry many different parts within us, each one as unique and beautiful as a wildflower.
